Our Story

Jazz 4 All is not a solo project but a collective, where each of the musicians contributes the best of themselves for the benefit of the project. There are no rules or limits on who improvises first or the duration of the solos. It is a group of friends playing music, looking for the result to be greater than the sum of its parts. Carlos R. Peniche does not like to be considered the director of the project. However, he is the founder and comments that it makes no sense to name a director when each member of the group is a director himself! They perform in jazz clubs in Mexico City and have performed at the CCB (INBA), Querétaro Jazz Festival, Conservatorio del EdoMex, Palacio de Minería, Simón Bolívar amphitheater (UNAM), Fonoteca Nacional and SACM (Sociedad de Autores y Compositores) among others.
